To find your why, take a
moment and make a list of every reason you do what you do. Write out every
reason you love the service you offer, why you believe in it, and how you can
help your clients. Write out what you are passionate about and what sets your soul on fire. Include the reasons you feel called to sharing what you do. As if no one else
would see it, write down every single thing you can think of. That's how you
find your why.
Once you know your why, you need to find your who. Often, we feel called to serve everyone, and change the lives of everyone we meet. But as small business owners, we need to know our niche- the smaller genre of people our business specifically serves. You need to know exactly who you are talking to so you can create business success.
Knowing your who and knowing your why helps inform the language you will use for your social media, your website, and your sales copy. You can't use the same language for every audience- you have to be able to speak clearly to the hearts of your audience to build that trust and rapport.
When you speak to your audience directly, you call out to the problems they are experiencing- problems that you can help heal. The more specific you can get with your message and your brand, the more you will draw in your dream clients.
Finding the clarity of the how and the who can help to lead you to your values as a brand. What do you stand for? What motivates and inspires you? What value does your business add to the world? Pulling together the clarity of the why, the who, and the how (your values) will set your business up for success.
Once you have these three
things in place, then you can dive more deeply into the what- what are you
offering to your audience? How do you want to offer them? What about pricing,
timeslots, scheduling, packages, courses, etc.? Once you have clarity in your
brand, your offers flow through naturally, because you've already built the
foundation of your business, and the offers themselves are truly just the icing
on the cake.
You are your brand. You are the energy your business will embody. Having the clarity to see how you will bring your passions and purpose to the table in a way that serves your dream client and aligns with your values is your next step to Reiki business success.
