Fright vs. Fear in the Sacral Chakra
When you think about fear and fright, think of the Sacral Chakra.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the emotion of fear resides in the kidney. The bladder coincides with the Sacral Chakra and this Chakra is characterized by flow and corresponds to the element of water.
This can very much explain why people "pee themselves" when in complete fright. Perhaps you've had that feeling? Children often feel this whether they are scared on a rollercoaster or frightened to confront their parents about something.
With fear, your physiology activates to help release the feeling through heat and through fluids. This includes sweating, urinating, and blood pumping, all of which release the energy of fear and allow the body to reset
Fright is a quick, momentary exchange of energy that the body releases fully before moving on to another emotion. We experience fright in moments like jumping out of an airplane to skydive or turning a corner in a Halloween haunted house. These feelings come and go quickly and aren't always considered a terrible thing. Our bodies can process fright and release it from the body.
Fear, however, is a lingering emotion, often the result of fright that was not fully released and is now being stored in the body. Fear is a chronic disorder, meaning that in many times it is irrational.
If energy is not allowed to flow, it will cause disease, and the same goes for fright. If fright is not allowed to move through the body, it will stagnate into a disease known as fear.

Often we try to deflect the fear to the external world, looking outside for validations for our fear. But we have to be able to look inside, and recognize that fear exists within. We have to be honest enough with ourselves to look within, and recognize that we can release our fear by digging to the root of the fright.
When you release this fear, you come to a state of neutrality, a state of love. When we are in neutrality, our energy flows in balance, unhindered by fear or blockages.
When we fully release fear, we exist in oneness with the Universe, and open ourselves up to the energy of love.
