After a few more minutes, I moved up his Chakra line, providing Reiki over his hands at the Solar Plexus. I saw his Guardian Angel standing beside the table. He felt that John had nearly forgotten him, but wanted him to know he was always there.  

At John’s head, HSZSN popped into my head. I realized that the hip probably kept flaring because it was tied to a past trauma that happened around the time of the injury. I chanted HSZSN in my head while the Reiki flowed, asking for the trauma to be released from the area. John then moved his hands to his sides, no longer intuitively protecting his solar plexus. I moved down his chakra line again moving to his hips and Root Chakra. Adding the CKR, SHK, and HSZSN to Root, sensing the trauma may have been a first sexual experience. I simply held space for the release of the trauma.

I worked my way down to his knees. His left knee was also intensely hot. The energy on his left had not been flowing through his left hip. His knee had numerous releases as I held it with one hand on top and the other underneath. I encouraged the Reiki to flow through the left side over to the right. His feet twitched as the Reiki moved through him.

As I ended the session, I provided him an overview of what occurred (refraining from discussing my interpretations of past sexual trauma as this isn’t the space to interject what I sensed, knowing that if and when he needed a safe place to discuss or release further he would reach out).  What I particularly focused on was that his Guardian Angel was with him. I encouraged him to drink plenty of water and ice his hip. Upon leaving he observed that the swelling had already gone down He easily walked out of the studio upright and pain free. The following day he was able to work a 10 hour work day.
