1. Change Your Perception of Time
We often get caught up in society's perception of time. Everything from New Year's resolutions to picking out food for the week at the grocery store pushes us out of the present and into the future. We gather beliefs about how our productivity only functions between the hours of 9-5, and subconsciously place our worth in how much we can force ourselves to produce during daylight hours.
Mass consciousness perceives time as a rigid structure, something that binds us to this physical reality and limits how much we can achieve. However, when we look at time through a spiritual or metaphysical lens, we realize that time isn't a rigid structure- it is a fluid representation of energy and when we can free ourselves from feeling limited by time, we open ourselves to expanded potentials for success. To start this process, check out our . Then, start looking at your own beliefs around time. Were you taught that time is limited, that we're running out of time, and that time is money, etc.? How often do you feel stressed about time? What beliefs do you have about which hours in the day you 'should' be working? When we question our beliefs and open ourselves up to understanding time is just energy in motion, we create space in our days to play with and bend time.

2. Release Your Limiting Money Beliefs
Just like we accumulate limiting beliefs about time, we also accumulate limiting beliefs around money. We grow up hearing that money doesn't grow on trees, money is the root of all evil, and you have to work hard for money.
Whether we agree with this or wish to see a change, money currently forms the basis of our society, and creates strong emotions. So long as we hold on to internal resistance and tension around money, we will never be able to welcome in success.
It's important to do the internal work to create a calm, open, and knowledgable understanding about our relationship with and perception of money in order to create a successful business. Begin by asking yourself what you believe about money. Looking at which beliefs you have accumulated about money, who passed those beliefs on to you, and if those beliefs are serving you can often be enough to create significant change in your approach to business.
3. Redefine What Success Means to You
It will be nearly impossible to create a successful Reiki business if you don't know what success means to you. Take a moment to journal about how you currently define success. Then ask yourself if that definition of success is one that you actually agree with, or is it simply what you have been taught success 'should' look like?
Often we define success as a way to prove our success to someone else. As Reiki practitioners, we may have someone in our lives telling us we won't be able to support ourselves, that Reiki can't be a career, or being skeptical about our ability to start a business.
Thus, we try to hit benchmarks in our business that will 'prove' we achieved success. Things we could take to our spouse, parent, or friend and say, 'Look! I did it! I am now officially successful in my business.'
But often those definitions of success aren't the same if we aren't trying to prove ourselves. If we explore what success looks like for us personally, or explore what we think it would mean to live a successful life, we often come up with a very different definition. Your definition of success might change to a feeling, or a sense of freedom and purpose. So ask yourself what your current definition of success is, and if that definition would shift if you weren't trying to prove yourself.
